The morning began regularly with matins, breakfast, and morning programs. The oldest cabins left for a 14-mile hike and will return tomorrow. The afternoon brought fun and games with plenty of water breaks- it was a hot day! Campers chose from our regular sports activities, making knot pillows in arts and crafts, or learning Greek dance. There were lots of choices and a lot of fun to be had. This evening we had a Paraklesis service and then began Color Wars! The white and blue teams had a greasy watermelon tournament and played several games of dodgeball to kick off the festivities.
