You would never think that today was the first full day of camp! If you asked any camper, they would say that they felt so bonded with one another already that it didn’t even feel like they just got here! We began the day with Orthros and a sermon given by His Grace Bishop Thomas. After breakfast, campers attended their first class of Christian Ed while one set of the oldest cabins took off for their 1, 2&48 Hike!! Our other hike cabins (5&47) hit the ropes course, along with our CITs and 6&46! Our first day of afternoon program was a great success. The weather was just right as the kids did some field activities and of course hit the AV Ball court to show their skills. After celebrating Vespers and having some yummy dinner, we had Western Night! We were joined by Laura and Ruth and the horses, sang along to some country tunes, and did the Chicken dance all the way to tonight’s snack…Ice Cream!!! What a great way to start out Session 4! We can already see the enthusiasm we will see for another 11 days, and we can’t wait to bring you along for the ride! Goodnight!
