Being the first full day of camp for the summer, god has truly been kind. Another sunny day, as we blessed the camp with holy water for our morning service. After breakfast, campers went on to attend their first morning programs, which included chapel tours, arts and crafts, christian education, and much more. In the afternoon, campers got to choose from a wide variety of sports and leisure activities. The two oldest cabins enjoyed time on the challenge course, as they experienced flying down the zip line. The campers also got to enjoy the evening as we had the Camp fire. Even on such a hot day, the evening cooled down just enough, to justify sitting around a warming fire. Moreso warming due to the radient voices of the campers singing camp-fire-songs. A great first full day to kick off the summer.
